I’m bringing my work year to an end this evening, as it’s unlikely that many people will be thinking of A Day in Our Life photography sessions, what with Christmas and (in the southern hemisphere) summer holidays around the corner.
That said, I’ll still keep an eye on my office email, so I shall be available for any enquiries you may have, and if you do want an A Day in Our Life session during December, I’d be open to discussing that with you. Otherwise, I’ll be back in the swing of things from Monday, 11 January 2016.
Thank you for your support over the past year. I appreciate everyone who engages with my photography business, especially clients, social media followers, blog readers (I’ll try post more often next year!), and suppliers. Word of mouth is important in my industry, so thank you to all of you who told others about what it is I do here, and those who passed my website and/or Facebook details on to others. I appreciate you!
I’m hoping to introduce one or two new things next year. One thing I want to experiment with is the concept of a half-day version of A Day in our Life. Some people may be reluctant to commit to having a full day photographed, and might want to try a half-day session instead. Once I’ve worked out the details, I’ll try one or two out to see if it’s feasible, and, if it works to my liking, I’ll add that to my service offerings. So keep a lookout for that next year.
There has also been an increase in enquiries about buying prints of some of my personal photographs, so I’m looking at ways of making prints of my art and landscape photographs more available in a way that balances viability and affordability.
Thank you, again, for your support this year. I wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy 2016. See you next year!
